Adult Individual Therapy

I have worked with anxiety, depression, divorce, relationship difficulties, codependence, immigration trauma, marginalized identity because of ethnicity/class/sexual orientation/other oppression, and trauma. I also work with those whose past pain is hindering them from living more fully in their lives.

As an attentive and caring person, I will support you in feeling heard, accepted, and cared-for. Through our collaborative work, I will help you feel hard emotions and learn more about who you are. Together, I will also supportively explore unhelpful patterns that get in the way of living the life you want. Not only will we get a sense of what the “barriers” are, but we’ll also experiment with trying new ways of doing, relating, and being.

Therapy with me is experiential: by slowing down and getting curious about what’s happening in the present moment, you can cultivate new ways of responding.
